Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)

Federal and state regulations require the Financial Aid Office to monitor the academic progress of students who apply for or receive aid. At least once per year, the Financial Aid Office checks to see if aid students are meeting the requirements outlined in the Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy. Failure to meet these requirements can lead to loss of eligibility to receive aid. For more information, see Appendix D.

Academic Suspension or Dismissal

In addition to the SAP requirements, academic suspension or dismissal will always result in cancellation of financial aid for future terms. A student who receives formal readmission to TU as a degree candidate may request consideration for financial aid.
