TU Incubator supports and promotes venture creation and small business growth in order to stimulate economic development and to further the respective missions of Towson University and Baltimore County. TU Incubator provides business support and networks to seed and early stage companies that have a viable plan for growth. As a university-integrated business incubator, TU Incubator uniquely serves both regional and local startups as well as TU students, faculty, and staff.
About TU Incubator
Founded in 2007, TU Incubator has supported over 75 companies and produced greater than $50 million in economic impact. Today, TU Incubator is focused on technology enabled services, particularly those that focus on university core competencies, such as education and healthcare.
An EdTech Focus
TU Incubator supports the largest cluster of edtech companies in Maryland. By definition, edtech is the platforms, tools, and digital initiatives used to improve learning and administrative outcomes and efficiencies. This includes end users in early childhood, PreK-12, postsecondary, special, corporate, and workforce education.
