Admission

Admission to the graduate programs at Towson University is granted to applicants whose academic and professional qualifications give promise of success in graduate study. The applicant must hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university, or the equivalent of this degree from another country.

Students seeking admission to a graduate degree program, must meet the minimum requirements of the university, plus any additional program requirements. The applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.00 (on a 4-point scale) in either cumulative units of the degree or the last 60 units of the degree for full admission. Applicants must complete an application and submit the application fee. 

The Graduate Catalog

The Graduate Catalog contains the academic regulations governing graduate studies at TU. It also includes information regarding programs and the application process. Some program requirements and deadlines may differ. Please refer to the online Program listings for specific requirements and deadlines. Also, registration information and a schedule of courses for the coming term are available online.
