Repeating Courses

Courses for which a grade has been awarded may be repeated only once. Students must abide by the program’s policies and procedures to be eligible to repeat a course. The grade of W does not replace a previously awarded grade. When the course is repeated, the student receives the units for the course (counted once) and the higher of the two grades. Grades for courses taken at other institutions may not be used to replace grades for courses completed at TU. Courses taken for undergraduate credit may not be repeated for graduate degree credit.

Students wishing to appeal for approval to make a third attempt at a course, must complete the Third Attempt of a Course petition.
