Minor in Finance
This 18-unit minor is not open to students who are pursuing a major in Business Administration - Finance concentration or Business Administration - Investments track. It is also not open to students completing the major in Economics with the Financial Economics Track. All requirements for the Finance minor must be completed with a grade equivalent of 2.00 or higher. Non-CBE majors who elect a Finance minor are not formally admitted to the College of Business and Economics and will not graduate from CBE.

Note that the prerequisites for FIN 331 are ACCT 201, ACCT 202, ECON 201, ECON 202 and ECON 205/MATH 231 and junior standing.

Note: Upper-level Finance courses may not be taken without first completing the prerequisites.
Recommended Course Sequence
FIN 331 is a junior-level course and is a prerequisite for all other FIN courses. FIN 350 is a prerequisite for FIN 351 and FIN 436. FIN 351 is a prerequisite for FIN 430 and FIN 439. FIN 333 is a prerequisite for FIN 423 and FIN 423 is a prerequisite for FIN 433. The minor may be completed over four terms.
