Accelerated Minor to MA Option
Students pursuing the minor in Geography may be eligible to complete an individualized Accelerated Bachelor’s to Master’s degree in conjunction with the master’s program in the Geography & Environmental Planning. Interested students should contact the department to request permission to take up to 3 graduate geography courses that will count toward both the minor and the eventual master’s degree. Students granted permission to pursue the individualized combined degree would use the graduate level coursework (usually, GEOG 601 and GEOG 621) to fulfill the upper level elective requirements. Please see the specific Geography screening requirements for taking graduate level geography courses toward the minor on the Geography Bachelor's to Master's page.
