Catalog Selection
Students must fulfill all degree requirements from their assigned catalog. They will be assigned the catalog in effect at the time of their formal admission to TU and have 10 years to complete the requirements in order to graduate.
Students may request an alternate catalog under the following conditions:
- They may select the catalog in effect at the time of formal admission at their initial transferring institution, provided 10 years have not elapsed and they have sufficient time to finish under the selected catalog. Students may elect this option by completing the Catalog Selection Petition and submitting the form to the Registrar’s Office for final approval.
- They may select a later catalog provided that the chosen catalog has not expired. The student will be required to complete the general degree requirements in effect for the selected catalog year. Students may elect this option with the signed approval of their major department chairperson on the Catalog Selection Petition.
Students must see an academic adviser before submitting this form in order to determine the impact their catalog selection may have on their degree requirements. Please note that any change in catalog may affect degree requirements and may negate previous advising.
