University of Cambridge International Examinations
Towson University recognizes that A/AS Levels taken through University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) or other approved boards represent achievement beyond the standard American high school program and may award advanced standing to students who successfully complete Cambridge International Advanced A Level and AS Level programs.
Cambridge International Advanced and Advanced Subsidiary (A and AS) Levels
A or AS levels will be awarded credit and course equivalencies on an individual basis. Advanced standing credit is awarded for A and AS Level passes with a mark of D or better.
TU will only accept officially submitted test scores from Cambridge International within one year of the student’s enrollment. Any test scores submitted after the student's first year may not be eligible for awarded credit. Cambridge International A & AS levels will be reviewed for credit transfer upon written request after matriculation. It is the responsibility of the student to contact the Office of Admissions for review.
