Special Admission Programs
Early High School Graduates
Early admission enables students to be admitted and to matriculate immediately following the completion of their junior year in high school. Students interested in early admission should apply through the freshmen application process. Their applications, however, must be accompanied by a letter of recommendation from either the high school counselor or principal that includes a statement verifying that they will have met the graduation requirements and/or are eligible for early graduation. In order to be a degree-seeking student at Towson University students must earn their high school diploma or its equivalent prior to enrolling at TU. An official transcript with final grades and date of graduation must be received by to the start of the entry term. Otherwise, students who do not meet these requirements will have their candidacy withdrawn.
Students who graduate high school in December can be reviewed for spring admission if they meet the stated freshman deadlines and requirements. However, spring applicants are not considered for admissions scholarships.
On-Campus Interviews
Personal interviews are not considered in the admissions process.
